Our Chinese New Year meal ended with the traditional opening of the fortune cookie. Mine said, "beware of the unexpected." A moment later I bit into my cookie and a filling fell out of my teeth. The filling disappeared down my throat where it lodged in a very sensitive place. It ruined my whole evening.
