Basically I’m opposed to organizations like the Campfire Girls or the Boy Scouts because they put kids in uniforms and regiment them. However, I've learned I can function within the framework of the Blue Birds. When the girls are studying birds, I do a fantasy trip with them and imagine what it feels like to be a bird rather than take them to a museum to see the stuffed variety.
